Job Description

The Hire Firm is searching for a Director of Academic Resources for this respected academic institution in Santa Fe. The Director of Academic Resources coordinates administrative functions and oversees the use of academic resources. This is a full-time, contract position that will last at least six months or more.

  • $24-$31/hour

  • Paid Sick Leave


  • Manage and coordinate with academic leadership on various initiatives including development of the semester schedule, the academic affairs calendar, and faculty contracts.

  • Manage the annual academic catalog and credit schedule production process 

  • Organize and enter all syllabi in database

  • Standardize and coordinate updates to degree plans and certificates 

  • Collaborate with the VP/Academic and Student Affairs on updating college policy and procedures 

  • Participate in strategic operational planning

  • Conduct needs assessments and analyzes results; prepares action plans and budget initiatives

  • Work with Human Resources to review full-time faculty contracts

  • Act as a liaison with Human Resources for faculty questions

  • Perform related duties as assigned

Desired Profile:

  • Master’s degree and 2 years’ directly related experience

  • Knowledge of college policies/procedures and degree requirements

  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
