Job Description

We are assisting our client, a large company in Northern New Mexico, in their search for a remote Communications Specialist II. The Communications Specialist II is responsible for a wide variety of internal and external communications activities. This is a great opportunity to join a world-class writing and editing team while gaining valuable experience and exposure. This position is expected to last 2 years with the possibility of an extension. 



  • $37-$39/hour

  • Format, edit and publish new and updated website content 

  • Translate technical and complex content into web appropriate formats

  • Organize content into sitemaps that support campaigns

  • Collect website metrics from analytics software

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders

  • Conduct research, investigate alternative solutions, and recommend solutions to improve services and products

  • Communicate program requirements and detailed elements to both technical and non-technical personnel

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years’ related experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF

  • Strong foundation of the English language and technical editing

  • Ability to work as a team and independently

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to pass a background check


  • Remote from the Northern New Mexico area


  • Monday -Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
