Paralegal - Full Time
Job Description
We’re partnering with a respected Santa Fe–based civil rights and employment law practice to hire a skilled Paralegal. You’ll work directly with a lead attorney known for being both sharp and grounded, and contribute to high-impact cases involving civil rights violations, workplace discrimination, and police misconduct.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in complex litigation, values mission-driven work, and wants to be part of a small team that treats people like people—not paperwork.

Schedule:
-
Onsite Monday–Thursday in Santa Fe, Remote Fridays
Key Responsibilities:
-
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
-
Format and cite-check appellate briefs
-
Manage deadlines, organize case files and discovery

Conduct legal research and summarize findings
-
Handle trial prep: exhibits, jury instructions, witness materials

Communicate with courts, experts, and clients
Qualifications:
-
Paralegal certificate or BA preferred
-
2+ years litigation experience (civil rights/employment law a plus)

Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal databases (Lexis, Westlaw, etc.)

Poise, discretion, and emotional intelligence
Compensation:
- Very competitive, depending on experience
