Job Description
Our ideal candidate has excellent computer and communication skills. This is a busy, complex office and requires someone calm under pressure who can switch tasks without impacting performance.
While this role is a front office role, employees may be exposed to potential hazards including needles, chemicals, and medications.
Compensation
- $22.00-$23.00/hr. DOE
- Nutritional supplements at wholesale cost
- 401K eligibility after initial 1000 hours

- Free medical office visits by Dr. Canfield, Dr. Palladino, nursing staff as needed
- Formal annual performance reviews
- Daily QuickBooks use (billing, purchase orders, receiving inventory, running reports)
- File monthly gross receipt taxes
- Manage front desk staff and resolve interoffice conflict
- Providing administrative assistance to managing doctor
- Primary liaison with vendors, pharmacies and staff physicians
- Schedule and organize staff meetings
- Order and maintain inventory
- Manage online supplement store via Shopify
- Perform accounts receivable
- Provide excellent customer service and take care of patient complaints
- Prior authorization requests with insurance companies
- Fill supplement orders
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Fix IT issues as they arise and/or act as liaison with IT consultant
- Continuously examine operations, improving existing procedures as needed.

- Previous office management with bookkeeping experience required
- Previous medical experience attractive but not required
- Sense of humor and a team player mentality
- Previous experience in QuickBooks, MS Office, and MacOS
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and bend, stoop and kneel often
