Job Description
We’ve partnered with a top-tier business law firm in downtown Albuquerque that specializes in litigation—but offers breadth across corporate governance, natural resources, employment law, bankruptcy, and more. They serve clients including major corporations, Native American entities, nonprofits, and government-focused businesses.
They’re currently expanding their litigation support team and looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their collaborative, collegial group. You'll work alongside experienced attorneys, support multiple dynamic cases, and enjoy a supportive firm culture—with strong mentorship, opportunity to learn, and genuine camaraderie.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $60,000–$70,000/year (flexibility based on experience)

Annual bonus: Generous, linked to performance and billable-hour achievement

What You’ll Do
-
Support multiple attorneys with litigation casework
-
Manage discovery: request, review, and summarize documents—particularly medical records; prepare medical chronologies

Organize trial preparation: exhibits, files, witness materials

Conduct legal research; draft motions, pleadings, and other boilerplate litigation documents

Maintain case files and document management systems

Coordinate communications with clients, courts, other attorneys and staff

Manage and support attorney calendars as needed

Collaborate with paralegal and legal assistant teams
Who We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
-
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience; 2–5+ years in litigation support

Proven experience preparing medical summaries/chronologies

Strong legal research and writing skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Familiarity with legal discovery software and calendaring tools

Comfortable in both electronic and traditional (paper-based) workflow

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; a combination of education and experience will be considered

Type of Employment

Full-time, direct-hire, exempt

Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (core hours 7:30–9 to 4:30–5); overtime approved as needed

Billable expectation: ~1,600 hours/year

Annual performance review at ~90 days, then ongoing; attorney feedback encouraged

Growth potential: lateral impact roles (e.g., practice-area cross-training, autonomy); formal supervisory path may develop
