Job Description

A well-respected medical malpractice and personal injury law firm with over 40 years of history in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas, the firm is establishing a physical presence to better serve its growing Phoenix caseload. We’re looking for an experienced Paralegal who understands the Arizona court system and can provide trial, case, and administrative support during this exciting next chapter.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $55-60K depending on experience
  • Employer-paid health insurance (medical, dental, vision)
  • 401(k) with 3% employer contribution (eligible after 1 year)
  • Generous PTO and observed holidays
  • Flexible scheduling during non-trial periods
Schedule & Travel:
  • Full-time, on-site position
  • Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; extended hours during trials
  • Occasional travel required, especially within Arizona to support trials
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage Arizona-based case files using cloud-based and physical systems
  • Prepare, draft, and file pleadings with Arizona courts (including e-filing)
  • Conduct legal research and compile exhibits
  • Assist attorneys with trial logistics—equipment setup, travel arrangements, meal coordination, and client communications
  • Coordinate client intake, maintain records, and support court-related tasks
  • Help establish and maintain smooth operations in the new Phoenix location
Who We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation support with Arizona court procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to new environments
  • Comfortable with travel and managing time-sensitive trial needs
  • Valid driver’s license required
