Julia Gallegos
Recruiter

Julia Gallegos grew up in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and received her BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has a strong administrative background and got her first taste of Human Resources in an internship with an international mining organization.  While in El Paso, Julia spent almost 2 years with a staffing and recruiting firm before graduating and returning home to Alamogordo.

When she's not matching New Mexico's talent with top employers, she enjoys spending time with her family.  She also loves shopping - especially for shoes! A few more fun facts: Julia played the trombone in the marching band in high school and is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Recruiting during Covid-19 would have scared most people away, but Julia is tenacious, driven, and passionate about what we do.  She finds getting to know people and connecting them with the right opportunities to be very fulfilling.  So much, in fact, she's returned to help us after taking some time off. We only get her part-time, but we are thrilled to have her back.
