Jodie Douglass
Recruiter
After a successful career in broadcasting as an Account Executive, Jodie Douglass decided to try her hand at recruiting, and we are so glad she did! Her recruiting debut focused on management positions for the commercial construction industry, and she opened up new markets in several states. A Covid-19-inspired pivot took her to Allstate. As a corporate recruiter there, she gained valuable insight into the needs of internal HR departments, uniquely positioning her to have a deeper understanding of our clients. While she had great fun engaging talent at all levels for Allstate, she missed headhunting and joined The Hire Firm in October 2022.
From C-suite to early career positions, Jodie applies the same recruiting philosophy. She believes that, above all, this is a business about people and the relationships that empower them to thrive. For her, it is truly about connecting clients and candidates to the right opportunities.
Jodie and her family moved to Albuquerque from Dallas in 2010 and fell in love with the people, food, and beautiful desert landscape. In her spare time, Jodie shoos her fiancé and two adult children out of her art studio. She enjoys all kinds of local restaurants, both the hole-in-the-wall dives and the upscale, classy places. She drinks fancy tea, hunts the best locally roasted coffee, and honestly might be entirely too obsessed with all things caffeinated.
