- Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experience

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
As the organization’s Accountant, you will report directly to the Executive Director and play a critical role on the management team. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the agency’s accounting systems, budget preparation, and financial reporting
- Overseeing cash flow analysis and ensuring timely reporting to funders and the Board
- Handling payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance with grant requirements
- Preparing for and coordinating the annual audit
- Collaborating on funding applications and organizational policy development
- Potential supervision of staff related to financial reporting and donor databases
- Solid mix of nonprofit accounting knowledge, grant tracking experience, and tech-savvy skills.
- 3–5 years of full-charge accounting experience, including payroll and taxes
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- A bachelor's degree is desirable
- Experience with nonprofit or governmental accounting
