Temporary Academic Affairs Coordinator
Job Description
The Hire Firm is searching for a Temporary Academic Affairs Coordinator for this respected academic institution in Santa Fe. The Academic Affairs Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Academic Resources to coordinate all academic administrative functions. This is a full-time, contract position that will last at least six months with the potential to extend.
This is a great long term project for someone experienced in this area of higher education.
Compensation:

$20-28/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Assist Director of Academic Resources with creating, building, and reviewing the credit schedule and the production process of the electronic catalog

Assist with coordinating faculty assignments, workloads, and contracts

Maintain current record of all forms and procedures

Prepare agenda, takes minutes, post minutes on website, and arrange meeting location and times

Perform appropriate research on academic practices/policies at other institutions of higher education

Process probation/suspension letters to students
Desired Profile:
-
Bachelor’s Degree + previous higher education experience (or equivalent combined education/experience)

Previous experience in Banner, Acalog, Curriculog, AdAstra, or Simple Syllabus a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team while executing critical thinking and problem solving skills
