The Hire Firm is currently partnering with a distinguished local CPA firm in Santa Fe, known for delivering top-notch professional services and guidance. Viewing each client relationship as a partnership, the firm collaborates closely to craft strategies that are uniquely tailored to meet individual needs. They are now looking for an Accountant to join their team, someone who is eager to tackle a variety of challenges including tax work, audits, bookkeeping, payroll, and specialized projects.
As an Accountant, you will be immersed in a role that requires a creative and nimble approach to problem-solving, with new challenges to face each day. This position is perfect for those who are quick on their feet and ready to find innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing individual, business, trust, and partnership tax returns.
- Participating in audit teams for nonprofit organizations.
- Tackling projects that require creativity and innovative problem-solving.
- Contributing to a team-oriented environment that values each member's growth and development.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience being a significant plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- A long-term commitment to working within a talented accounting team.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Location & Schedule:
- Located in the heart of Santa Fe, NM with the option for a hybrid work schedule.
- Monday to Friday, full-time position.
Type of Employment:
- Direct hire.
