Temporary Director of Academic Resources
Job Description
The Hire Firm is searching for a Director of Academic Resources for this respected academic institution in Santa Fe. The Director of Academic Resources coordinates administrative functions and oversees the use of academic resources. This is a full-time, contract position that will last at least six months or more.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate with academic leadership on various initiatives including development of the semester schedule, the academic affairs calendar, and faculty contracts.

Manage the annual academic catalog and credit schedule production process

Organize and enter all syllabi in database
-
Standardize and coordinate updates to degree plans and certificates

Collaborate with the VP/Academic and Student Affairs on updating college policy and procedures

Participate in strategic operational planning

Conduct needs assessments and analyzes results; prepares action plans and budget initiatives

Work with Human Resources to review full-time faculty contracts
-
Act as a liaison with Human Resources for faculty questions

Perform related duties as assigned
Desired Profile:

Master’s degree and 2 years’ directly related experience

Knowledge of college policies/procedures and degree requirements

Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
